Yes, please ignore this check flavor for now. These checks are now used 
again for experimenting with further changes to Rtools on Windows as 
described here:

so the checks may again use patched versions of R-devel, patched 
packages, testing versions of Rtools (now it does), and so failures can 
be expected. The current large breakage is because this system needs 
manual changes when a release branch (now R 4.2) is created.
