Sorry, a couple of those notes I probably pulled from my own cran-comments.md which was included in the submission response email and I mistook as coming from CRAN’s check.

Therelevant note is

Examples with CPU (user + system) or elapsed time > 5s
             user system elapsed
get_nih_data 4.29   0.08   19.18

(I doubt you got the other on a CRAN usbmission?)


Theb example tiem shoudl be reduced to less than 5 sec.
Ideally use toy data and few iterations and set time limits for web
access. If you cannot reduce further, wrap in \donttest{}.
