Daniel,

That whole setup sounds somewhat messy.  I would either

 -  merge sjPlot and sjmisc, possibly into sjPlot and just deprecate the
    then-redundant sjmisc
    
 -  define sjbase, upload it, and have both sjPlot and sjmisc depend on it
