[R] Errors --> Windows 8- R version 3.2.1

Have saved text files in the same working directory as well as in the
desktop.
I am still unable to read url or files in R.

Screenshot of the commands given by me in R are attached herewith.

The version of R I am using is 3.2.1 on a Windows 8 laptop.
