[R] Not able to find files in working directory

I have already done that. It was working and now it isn't. The program was
not closed or restarted. It just stopped working. 

> Squid<-read.table("Squid.txt",header=T)

Error in file(file, "rt") : cannot open the connection
In addition: Warning message:
In file(file, "rt") :
  cannot open file 'Squid.txt': No such file or directory'

but the file is still in the same folder and has not moved. I am in a class
that is based off R. Still learning the basics.
