Hi Joana,
As far as I can see, R Essentials has nothing to do with R in terms of being an official R package so you will not find it on CRAN. 

It seems to be an IBM add-in for SPSS that let's you run R code within SPSS.  It should be available from http://sourceforge.net/projects/ibmspssstat/

Oh and R is much nicer than SPSS. Come join us.
