[R] paste(" /" ") and paste(" /' ")

I wish to write  "" using paste(), but


 > paste("\"","Hola","\"",sep="")
[1] "\"Hola\""
 >


while the same approach works with ''
 > paste("\'","Hola","\'",sep="")
[1] "'Hola'"


why this difference? how could I do it to get "Hola" ?
