[R] Problem installing R on openSUSE 10.3

Did you try automatic dependency resolution or did you download piece by piece?

What gives 
rpm -q tcl ?

libtcl is provided by that package. I suspect somthing went wrong
when you installed tcl.

If tcl indeed is installed. Does libtcl physically exist ?
Here I get:
whereis libtcl8.4.so
libtcl8.4: /usr/lib/libtcl8.4.so

Just wild guesses, but it's a new error ...
