[R] Build on Solaris 8 gcc-3.1 fails make check

You mean a clean build of R? 

I can't see what would have been a problem, but I am not very familiar
with this and might easily overlook something. Advice appreciated. I
looked for lib's with the same names - apart from 64 and 32 bit libs of
the same name and symlinks I saw no duplicates.

If you mean a clean build of gcc-3.1, I skipped the dejagnus checks
before the attempt to build R. I am running them now. All pass, so far.
