[R] A Few Suggestions to help out newbies

The JSS editorial board is considering a  JSS section "R Snippets",
possibly edited by our editors Kurt Hornik and Roger Koenker,
which will have "interesting pieces of R code", with only a
minimal amount of text /comments. Reactions ?
