[R] Save Results in a file

Hello R profis,
i would like save automatic my refreshed results
or plots with the nice Sys.sleep function (thanks to D.Eddelbuettel & Prof.Ripley).
I found the save.plot and the package xtable for text outputs both works fine for my intention,but how can i save table results like the examaples in package "xtable" in a HTML-file or if not possible in text-file!

To the contributors: R is really great and i forget more and more use SPSS!
