In our situation we sometimes run netscape from a another platform via
ssh and so
the machine netscape is running on may not contain any R software and
consequently
having it look into the users ~/.R will not work. I would like to have
easy way
to specificy a documentation root which is an actual URL. I s there a
place
I can specify in the configuration. Failing that can the source file
./src/library/base/R/unix/help.start.R seems to be relevant as does the
script
lib/R/bin/help.links
