You can use ESS (Emacs speaks Statistics) under Emacs to quite the same
effect. I use it under Linux, but it is said to work under Windows, too. It
has even more features than S-Plus 2000's script windows, such as keyword
completion and syntax coloring. You find a link to it on the R-project site

I have used S-Plus 2000, too, and in my opinion, ESS is better. But, of
course, you'll have to learn to use Emacs to use it... (buy the O'Reilly book
and go for it :-).
