[R] Installing R on RedHat7.0

I've also used them on Solaris and on RH6.2 with no problems.

Isn't there a problem (or at least warnings) with the beta-2.96 version of
gcc that RedHat decided to use?  As I recall it, that was complaining
about the use of ## in some of the header files.  It will be in the
archives of R-help or R-devel.
