[R] RdConv.bat under NT 4.0

Hello:

I have just used prompt() in R1.0.1, NT4.0, to make a
file called myfun.Rd, in my %R_HOME%\bin subdirectory, then
tried converting the .rd file to HTML using the Rdconv.bat, as follows:

Rdconv --type=html myfun.Rd

The message that I got was

cat: cannot open **

where ** is some unintelligible character.
It looks like a Perl problem to me (I've just installed ActivePerl 5.6.0.613
today)
Perl is definitely in my path.
I have set R_HOME=D:\Progra~1\Rw1001.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong in trying to convert to HTML?
thanks in advance.

				Tom
