[R] Problems with SuSE 6.4

Under SuSE 6.4 everything just went the same as under 6.3 when 
installing from sources. Only after updating Perl to 5.6 the 
helpfiles weren't built any more. But SuSE 6.4 seems to have some 
problems in it's install scripts that result in some symbolic links 
not being set appropriately (you get an error message in yast after 
installation). I couldn't compile mysql anymore at first, only after 
reinstalling Linux or setting the links manually in another case.
