There are times I have wished all the output from configure was recorded
somewhere. (Perhaps it is and I just don't know where.) I have even re-run
configure on occassion, just to try and figure out a problem. But re-running
does not help if your system has changed and you are trying to figure out why
something worked before and doesn't anymore.
