[Rd] wish: postscript-device - LaTeX ec-fonts (PR#1322)

First you need to get postscript Type 1 versions of the EC fonts.
For a long time there were none available.  There is now the CM-Super
font package, which is 55Mb in size and so not in the standard TeX
distributions (it's much larger than they are).

If you do have them, postscript() already has the ability to use new font
families, so all you have to do is to make use of it.

Yes. You don't have the CM type 1 fonts installed (or not installed so
dvips can use them).   I don't know why you think R-bugs is an appropriate
forum for dvips problems, though.
