R abnormal exit when plotting lm (PR#308)

None. It's a bug...

However, to have a chance of fixing it (and knowing whether it got
fixed!), we'd need to either have instructions to reproduce the crash,
or at the very least detailed information on where things went wrong.
Can you make it happen again when running under a debugger?
