New package pastecs

Hi all,

There is a new package in CRAN:

PASTECS (package for analysis of space-time ecological series).

Although primarily intended for ecologists, it should be useful to analyze
any kind of time-series. It provides several methods that are complementary
to other existing time-series libraries in CRAN. It's strength is in
regulation and decomposition of series. Some methods are quite original,
like the turnogram, Auto/CrossD2 and D2 to the center, the area method, the
distogram,...

It runs on R (Unix/Linux, Windows and Macintosh) and also on Splus.

Beside it's availability on CRAN, there are also various versions
(Splus,...) available from the web site http://www.sciviews.org/pastecs...
and shortly a 250+ pages user manual in French but that is planned to be
translated in English shortly.
