R-announce -- Important Announcements of the R Project

About R-announce

This list is for major (aka "important") announcements about the development of R and the availability of new code, see also the R mailing list overview.
See the R Project site for more information about R.

The list has a low volume (less than one message per week) and everyone mildly interested should consider subscribing, but note that the R-help mailing list gets everything from R-announce as well, so you don't need to subscribe to both of them.

The list is moderated

To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the R-announce Archives.
