New Package Released: RArcInfo 0.02

Hi,

I have relased a new package that can be helpful to the GIS
users: RArcInfo.
This package allows the user to import data from Arc/Info V7.x binary
coverage. There are functions to import data from the basic files: ARC,
PAL, BND, etc. and also from those that store tables.

Besides, there are also two functions to plot arcs and polygons.

The package will only work on Linux, but soon I will make it to work on
Windows.
Please, notice that the package is in an early stage and I need some
feedback from the users to improve it. I have some ideas, but many more
will be welcome.
