[ESS] showing function syntax

Just figured out why the function did not work for me: Starting R (M-x 
R) and opening a *.R file is not enough to start the ess-eldoc 
script....One has to run a R command form the buffer of that script file 
first (C-x C-j for example). This somehow connects the script buffer to 
the R buffer....from then on the function hints are shown.
