Configuring ESS for SAS on Win NT & Win 2000

M-x SAS works only with SAS on Unix machines, not on Windows machines.
ESS on Windows uses DDEclient to communicate with statistical programs.
SAS on Windows doesn't support the DDEserver.  Nor does SAS on Windows
support the -stdio command line option.  Therefore it is not possible
to run an inferior SAS process inside an emacs window.

There are two options.
Both use ESS's SAS-mode as your editor of your myfile.sas programs.

1. edit the file, pick up regions with the mouse and drop them into the
SAS edit window and submit.

2. edit the file and submit them in batch mode with the SUBMIT function
key (F3 or F8 depending on which set of keys you choose).
