essd-sas and w32 (was RE: what's "reporter"?)

I use XEmacs, and get the same problem in XEmacs 21.4.5 but not in XEmacs
21.4.3: is there a solution?

is part of ntemacs in the file w32-fns.el

(defun w32-using-nt ()

Presumably xemacs has some other notation to distinguish nt from w9x.
