Configuration Problem

Hello there,

Trying to configure ess version 5.1.16 on my machine (SunW Ultra-4 sparc
sun4u, operating system SunOS release 5.6) i get the following error message:

$ make
making HTML documentation...
(mkdir -p html; cd html; texi2html -verbose -iso -split_chapter -menu -glossary ../ess.texi)
sh: texi2html: not found
*** Error code 1 (ignored)
Test by pointing your browser to 'file://localhost//home/bagavosd/html/index.html'
(mkdir -p html; cd html; texi2html -verbose -iso ../readme.texi)
sh: texi2html: not found
*** Error code 1 (ignored)
make: Fatal error: Don't know how to make target `readme.dvi'
Current working directory /home/bagavosd/ess-5.1.16/doc
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `all'

This was done on the sh shell and obviously the executable cannot find 
the texi2html command. Could anyone please help ?
