Well, sorry, but that's not a very good answer for me.
Should I as R hacker and developer have to stop using ESS ??
More seriously, there are functions isdebugged(.) and tracingState()
which we should use to temporarily disabling tracing and debugging ...
ideally there was also a function debuggingState() with the analogous
semantic as tracingState()..
