[ESS-bugs] Xemacs initialization bug

Hi Phillip:

If it's just for a couple of days, I'm not really sure it is worth it.  But, a proper bug report might help 
us spot the problem quickly.  What is your ESS/XEmacs/OS/R/SAS/etc. version?
What is the error message?  Steps to re-create error, etc.
