You could put the Sys.setenv() command in your ~/.Rprofile and it
would get run each time you start R.
That would work and solve the problem.
But it seems to me that for some reason your path within R differs
from your system path and you may want to find out why. There are a
number of configuration files (see ?Startup) where this could happen.
If your R installation is unchanged, as far as you know, then there is
some other problem.
