[BioC] not a valid package -- installed < 2.0.0?

Hi, Kathy.  You should always follow the installation instructions on
the bioconductor website when installing packages.

http://bioconductor.org/download

That way, you will get the correct versions of the bioconductor
packages and their dependencies for your version of R and OS.  Give
biocLite() a try and let us know if you still have problems.
