[BioC] from gene name to locuslink id

Hi,

suppose I have a list of gene names like below, is there a
"fuzzy"-matching based algorithm to convert gene name to locuslink
id's?

[1] Comp   Rheb   Ctsj   Fgf18  Homer1 Ggtla1
