A Senior Biostatistician Position is Available at the University of
Massachusetts Medical School

The Senior Biostatistician is responsible for the planning, design,
review, programming and implementation of special information systems
activities. This includes a variety of projects that require the
statistical analysis of data, the creation of project statements and the
evaluation and implementation of research designs including but not
limited to quantitative and qualitative (experimental and
non-experimental) in standard APA format. In addition, serves as a
scientific consultant and instructor to the Medical School in the areas
of Biostatistics and Epidemiology. May direct/lead assigned project
teams.

- Experience with R/S-Plus, experience with programming ( c, java, Perl,
python ) is desirable
- Experience with DNA microarray data, genomic, and proteomic data
analysis/data mining is a strong plus.
- Ability to work in an interdisciplinary group providing support to
life sciences researchers
