[BioC] Reading STDEV in CEL files

Hi!
Is it posible to read not only the mean intensity but the STDEV from a cel 
files using functions from affy package ?
Searching in the mailing list it seem that read.celfile could do it but I 
didnt find the function (I imagine that it was from an ancient version)
Any hint will be very much appreciate it
