[BioC] error in getBioC("exprs")

There are RPMs for R. Please see http://cran.us.r-project.org/bin/linux
In addition, this is the Bioconductor listserv. If you have requests for 
R-core, you might try the R-devel listserv: r-devel at stat.math.ethz.ch
