Hello,

I was just trying to update Bioconductor (I'm running R1.8.0) under w2k via
the reposTools. However, I did not succeed. Here's the messages:

> install.packages2(method="wget")
Note: argument `lib' is missing: using C:/PROGRA~1/R/rw1080/library
Note: http://www.bioconductor.org/CRANrepository does not seem to have a

Error in update.packages2(method = "wget") :

I'm behind a firewall (proxy + user authentification), but
update.packages("scatterplot3d") works:

> install.packages("scatterplot3d", method="wget")
package scatterplot3d successfully unpacked and MD5 sums checked

Delete downloaded files (y/N)?
The packages are in
C:\DOCUME~1\S8310956\LOCALS~1\Temp\Rtmp31446\Rinstdir16535

Stangely - the installation of the reposTools itself via
getBioC(method="wget") works. Maybe there's something wrong with the BioC
site?

Please let me know if you've any suggestions,

	thanks for your help,

	Arne
