[Bioc-devel] Waiting for new package revision.

It looks like this has been resolved.

We have been overwhelmed with new submissions.  The listed 3 week time frame currently is not accurate as our reviewers have been inunated with assignments and requests.  We are doing our best to work through the queue and are always in need of new reviewers.

We apologize for the delays and appreciate the community understanding.

Hi,

(I'm not sure this is the best place to write. Please let me know if there's somewhere else I'd should go.)

I submitted a package on June to the old submission system which I the resubmitted on June 22nd to the new system, everything built clean at first attempt and a reviewer was assigned on the same day. Since then I received a message from the reviewer on July 29th telling me that the package was on his queue but had two other ones before. Since then I've not received any other message and nobody has answered my questions and requests for an updated expected time for the revision. I know the reviewers are volunteers and that time might not be available for reviews, but it's been three and a half months since submission and I'm starting to think that it might not be included in the next release.

Any idea on how to proceed?
