[Bioc-devel] Perspective Article: Toward a Psychiatric State Index (PSI) — Real-Time EEG Biomarker Framework with Computational Methods

Dear Bioconductor community,

I am sharing a perspective article proposing a wearable EEG framework — the
Psychiatric State Index (PSI) — for real-time differentiation of autistic
meltdowns from psychotic episodes using EEG-derived biomarkers and machine
learning.

The computational framework uses personal baseline z-score normalization
across 10 EEG sub-components, a two-stage classification pipeline (on-chip
SVM + cloud LSTM/Transformer), and may be of interest to those developing
EEG signal processing and biomarker analysis pipelines.
