Hi Pedro,
There is no main branch on the Bioconductor repository. There is only the master branch.
Try
git push upstream master

Subject: [Bioc-devel] Error pushing upstream
Hi all,
I am also having issues to push changes to git using git.bioconductor.org. Any
ideas on what could be causing this error?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Pedro
