We're increasing security on the web site, www.bioconductor.org<http://www.bioconductor.org>, to prevent http flooding and other attacks. Over the past week I've been monitoring a rule that identifies IPs making > 400 requests per minute. It looks like this is catching just rogue IPs (good!) so I've just enabled the rule to block them.
Of course we don't want to block anyone making legitimate requests. Please let me know if you find yourself or any of your automated scripts being blocked and we can investigate and reconfigure if necessary.
