Given the time constraints I would stick with AnnotationHub. There is no
problem hosting the MS/proteomics data there.

We don't have plans to actively move data from AH to EH but could do it
if the author wanted to and if the data were appropriate. You bring up a
good point about backwards compatibility between the hubs. I don't think
it's a good idea to have both an 'AH' id and 'EH' id and maintain a
mapping between the two. While we are creating separate hubs for
management purposes the interfaces will be very similar. It shouldn't
matter much to the end user whether they get data from AH or EH.
