[Bioc-devel] IMPORTANT - Announcement for ALL Package Maintainers

Hello,

This is a courtesy announcement for all package maintainers.

As you are all aware, it is a requirement that all package maintainers
be registered with the bioc-devel mailing list.

What is new is that we intend to start enforcing this rule.  As of the
next release (2.2) packages that are not compliant with this will be
removed from the manifest.

In an effort to enforce this new rule we are going to start comparing
the emails that are in the DESCRIPTION files of bioconductor  packages
against the list of emails registered on the bioc-devel mailing list.

Unfortunately, this also means that we really need your emails to match
in order to avoid falsely accusing you of noncompliance... 

So if for any reason you are using a different email for your package
than you registered with bioc-devel please consider eliminating this
discrepancy by updating one or the other of these emails so that they match.
