The Geneva School of Economics and Management of the University of Geneva (Switzerland) invites applications for a position of

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
 in Statistics
at the Research Center for Statistics - RCS

JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking candidates with a recognized research record in statistics and its applications and proven ability to direct research of high quality. Research interests in the area of business analytics or Data Science are an asset. Teaching obligations include courses at Bachelor, Master and Graduate levels. Candidates are also expected to contribute to the administrative duties of the RCS and the Faculty and according to his (her) rank.

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must hold a PhD in Statistics (or equivalent) and are expected to have published outstanding research in leading academic journals. Experience in teaching at different academic levels is required. Skills in acquiring external financing are an asset. Candidates in the early stages of their career with demonstrated potential for high quality research are also encouraged to apply.
