[Statlist] Workshop: selected topics in contemporary statistics

The "Official statistics" Section of the Swiss Statistical Society is organizing a workshop on some selected topics in contemporary statistics.

The workshop will take place in Neuchâtel, at the Swiss federal statistical office, on 13th June 2016.

The aim of the workshop is to provide an overview on four topics through relevant information and some good references. Two topics related to public statistics and two more general ones will be covered:

- Small Area Estimation, Isabel Molina (Univ. Carlos III, Madrid)
- Causal Inference, Mateo Rojas-Carulla (Univ. of Cambridge / Max Planck Institute, Tuebingen)
- Wage Inequalities, Mihaela Anastasiade (Univ. of Neuchatel)
- Big Data, Thibaut Lienart (Univ. of Oxford)

Price: CHF 130 (with lunch)
