Objective:
Equip participants with the knowledge

  *   of various design options for clinical trials,
  *   of the advantages and disadvantages of each design option,
  *   for appropriate interpretation of given designs,
  *   for better communication between health professionals and statisticians
Target audience:
Health professionals and statisticians who are interested or involved in conducting clinical trials. Statistical knowledge and software packages are not required.
(An optional pre-workshop course of basic statistics will be offered.)
Course format:
A mixture of lectures and group discussions for selected cases, all in English. No sample size calculation.
