POSTDOC- OR PHD POSITION

Funding is available for a Ph.D. candidate (Assistent, 50-75%) or post-doctoral researcher (Oberassistent, 80-100%) at the University of Bern for three years, starting between April 1 and October 1, 2011. This position is within a research project on

   Regularization and Qualitative Assumptions in Multivariate Density Estimation

and part of the German-Swiss research group FOR 916 (http://www.stochastik.math.uni-goettingen.de/forschergruppe/), sponsored by DFG and SNF with cooperation partners  in Goettingen, ETH Zuerich and Mannheim.
