Course title: Statistical Issues in Drug Development
Presenter: Stephen Senn
Location: Rennes, Brittany, France,
Dates: 1&2 September 2009
Fee: 500 euros non-academic, 150 euros academic

This is a fourth announcement of a course based on my book Statistical
Issues in Drug Development http://www.senns.demon.co.uk/SIDD.html
and being hosted by ENSAI http://www.ensai.com/ in Rennes, Brittany on 1
and 2 September 2009. Details of the course are available at
http://www.ensai.com/statistical-issues-in-drug-development-rub,72.html

The course will be in English

The course has two objectives: first, to take a fresh look at statistical
issues commonly encountered within drug development in a way that
highlights controversies rather than trying to achieve false consensus and
second to provide heuristic arguments to explain as simply as possible
some difficult issues. The course will stress philosophical and
inferential issues and will use very little algebra. It will be less about
"how to" but more about "why" and "whether to".

Online subscription can be made at
