Subject: I propose to close 'Rmetrics-core'

There are 4 members left of the  Rmetrics-core mailing list,
Achim Zeileis, Dirk Eddelbuettel, Tobias Setz, and myself.

The goal is described as

  This is the e-mail address listed as the 'Maintainer' in the DESCRIPTION file of all the Rmetrics R packages.

  A subset of this group has write access to the Rmetrics package
  sources.

Whereas the 2nd sentence is still true,  the first has not been
true for quite a while.

I propose to close the list -- which gets occasional spam that I
have to deal with ... but leave the list archives on the server, so
they are still "there" if there's any need (which I doubt).
