fImport: Import yahoo income statement

Greetings!

I am envisioning expanding the fImport module, so that quarterly data of companies can be imported into R. Much like the yahooKeystats() command, I would like to import data from http://finance.yahoo.com/q/is?s=IBM.  

I am not familiar with R programming yet, and before starting spending my time in writing the module, I wanted to know if any efforts in this direction have been made in the past. If not I would appreciate any support.
