An Ottawa Gatineau R User Group (R-UG-Ottawa) meeting has been set up
for 1530-1730 (3:30-5:30pm) on Thursday November 29, 2012  at U Ottawa:

55 Laurier Avenue E., Ottawa

The featured talk will be

      Spatial Statistics and R

            John Lewis
        Professor (retired)
         McGill University

The talk will be followed by an opportunity for discussion and questions 
about other aspects of R as well.

Please pass this information along to anyone that you think may be
interested. For those who do not yet use R, but are interested in
learning about it, the group is happy to respond to general questions.

Anyone interested in giving a presentation at a future meeting is

Note: There is limited (and very expensive!) parking under the Desmarais 
building. The entrance is on Nicholas Street NORTHBOUND only.
While there is other paid parking on Campus, the Rideau Centre is likely 
more convenient.

The Laurier Station of the Transitway is next to the building 
(South/East bound) or across the street (North/West bound).

There are bicycle racks around the building.
