[R-sig-ME] flying pigs: slight delay

Careful readers will have noticed that we have not released the lme4
package yet, although we said we would do so on August 1.

The package is in pretty good shape, but especially with several bug
reports rolling in the last few days (many of them long-standing!) we
decided we needed a few more days to let things stabilize.  Barring
emergencies, we plan to submit to CRAN on Monday August 5 -- it will
probably take a few more days after that for the package to
appear/propagate to mirrors.
